DANCE • ACTING • SINGING

Three disciplines.
One stage.

Building the next generation of versatile performers.

First workshop

More than a studio.
A new generation.

Dance • Acting • Singing

More than
one talent.

Three individual disciplines brought together to develop performers who are versatile, confident, expressive and prepared for every stage.

Dance

Dance develops physical awareness, coordination, musicality, technique, discipline and confidence.

At Triple Threat Studios, dance is also treated as a form of storytelling. Students learn not only choreography, but how movement communicates character, emotion and intention.

Acting

Acting develops imagination, emotional awareness, communication, character development and presence.

Students learn how to create believable characters, work with text, respond authentically and communicate ideas to an audience.

But acting also teaches something that transfers into every other performance discipline: How to connect.

Singing

Singing develops vocal technique, musicality, breath control, confidence and expression.

Students learn to use their voice not simply to produce sound, but to communicate.

Because technically correct singing is only part of being a great performer.

When all three come together, a different kind of performer emerges.

More than
one talent.

The Triple Threat Studios is a performing arts education company built around one simple belief: Young performers should not have to choose between disciplines. They should have the opportunity to develop all of them.

Dance. Acting. Singing.

Three individual disciplines, each requiring its own technique, training and artistry, brought together to develop performers who are versatile, confident, expressive and prepared for the stage, camera and professional world.

The Triple Threat Studios is not simply another dance school, acting school or singing program. It is a place where these three disciplines exist together with equal importance.

Our goal is to develop complete performers - artists who can move, act, sing, connect and communicate a story in whatever form the performance requires.

Because a dancer who understands acting becomes a storyteller through movement. An actor who understands dance develops greater physical awareness and presence. A singer who understands acting learns how to communicate emotion rather than simply sing the correct notes.

When all three come together, a different kind of performer emerges.

Our philosophy

We don't teach musical theatre.
We train performers.

Dance is not just choreography for a musical.
Acting is not just learning lines.
Singing is not just learning a song.

These are three disciplines.
Three crafts.
Three ways of telling a story.

Our philosophy is that performance training should go beyond teaching a student what to do. We teach them why they are doing it.

We want students to understand movement, character, voice, emotion, storytelling, presence and connection.

We want them to learn how to walk onto a stage and make an audience feel something.

Because being a performer isn't simply about being technically good.
It is about connection.
It is about presence.
It is about having the confidence to take up space.
It is about being able to communicate without saying a word.

What does
“Triple Threat”
mean?

Traditionally, a “triple threat” is a performer who is highly skilled in three core areas:

Dance.
Acting.
Singing.

But at The Triple Threat Studios, the term represents more than technical ability.

A Triple Threat is a performer who can:

  • Move with intention
  • Sing with emotion and technique
  • Act with authenticity
  • Tell stories through their body and voice
  • Adapt to different performance environments
  • Work collaboratively
  • Take direction
  • Build confidence
  • Connect with an audience
  • Approach performance as an artist, not simply as a student

We want students to leave our programs with more than three sets of skills.

More than
one talent.
